Grilled Gouda Cheese Sandwich


makes 4 sandwiches

WHAT YOU NEED
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • 6 tablespoons tamarind jam
  • 250 grams sliced Gouda cheese
  • pickled chilies

HOW TO PREPARE
  1. Drizzle one side of each sourdough slice with olive oil.
  2. Spread tamarind jam on the inside (the side without the oil) of each slice. Top with two cheese slices, a little more jam, and a few pieces of pickled chilies. Cover with another slice bread.
  3. Grill until golden brown or cheese is slightly melted. Slice and serve.
